(August 26, 2025) Jenniffer González’s government generates new controversies after the purchase and use of official vehicles assigned to the agency chiefs in Puerto Rico. The Women’s Advocate Office acquired a new Chevrolet Tahoe 2025 worth $73,378, double the average salary in Puerto Rico. The purchase of this vehicle happens at the same time that the Women’s Foundation in Puerto Rico reveals in a study that 61% the nonprofit organizations that offer services to women, girls, gender expansive people are facing budget cuts. 40% of these had to cut services and 11% closed temporarily.
