Casa de la Bondad, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 by a group of citizens concerned about the absence of specialized services for women victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children in the eastern region of Puerto Rico.

In 1994, services began to be provided to women survivors of domestic violence, their children, and the community at large.

In 1996, services were expanded with the creation of the Residential Program (Shelter). These programs were created to complete the services offered to families affected by domestic violence in Puerto Rico.

Vision

To contribute to the physical, social, and emotional strengthening of women survivors of domestic violence and their children in order to develop, foster, and reaffirm their dignity, equality, and respect to which all human beings are entitled.

Mission

To be the opportunity for women and their children who are survivors of domestic violence to find love, safety, well-being, and the maximum development of their capabilities.
