GENDER AND RACIAL JUSTICE FUND

Redistributing Power, Healing, and Transforming

The Gender and Racial Justice Fund was created from a commitment to building a society where all people, especially those historically marginalized by race, gender, identity, or orientation, can live without fear or violence, with real access to power, resources, and dignity.

This fund supports community organizations that confront, denounce, and transform the structures that perpetuate inequality. We invest in initiatives rooted in solidarity, gender and racial equity, and practices of accompaniment, popular education, collective healing, and access to justice.

In Puerto Rico, the intersections of gender, race, and class generate systemic exclusion at every level—from public policy to institutional culture to essential services. Black and racialized people, poor communities, trans and nonbinary people, and women in all their diversities continue to carry the weight of a system designed without them, and against them.

This fund is part of our commitment to redistribute power, transform privilege, and sow new possibilities. By funding feminist and anti-racist organizations, we are investing in the present and future of a Puerto Rico that is more just, more free, and more livable for all.
