Red Nacional de Albergues de Violencia de Género

Asociación Agro‑Mujer de Puerto Rico, Inc.is a non-profit organization incorporated in 2011, with its operational headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was established in response to the multiple needs faced by emergency and transitional shelters for survivors of gender-based violence across the island.

Mission

The Network represents various shelters specialized in providing refuge, safety, and comprehensive care to survivors. It promotes advocacy, training, institutional strengthening, and collaboration among shelters, facilitating the exchange of economic and human resources to ensure the continuity and quality of services.

An organization that brings together emergency and transitional housing shelters offering services to women and their children who are victims of gender-based violence.

Vision

It works to transform the social, political, and economic conditions that affect the life, health, and well-being of violence survivors. Through public policy advocacy, education, and institutional development, it seeks to guarantee essential services that respect dignity and promote holistic well-being.
